For the early birds, there is a dance Thursday night at the Fed (the regular Austin Swing Syndicate
dance). This is not part of the official exchange and admission will be $5 a person. You will
still need to pick up your registration packets and wristbands on Friday evening at the Fed. |

Afterparty at Joy Nix's House of Joy. This is a party party, not a dance party, so be prepared to be social. Music will be available and dancing is not verboten, so come meet the people you will be with for the next 72 hours! Space is available to crash if you find yourself too... tired to leave. |

Do you enjoy puzzles? Then join us for a treasure race! No car needed (this is Austin, after all). The race will take about two hours and will consist of solving clues that will lead you to a location containing the next puzzle. We'll be meeting at Trudy's Central at 1:30pm and giving out the first clue at 2pm The race will be setup to be fair to Austinites and non-Austinites alike.
We recommend bringing a cell phone so you can call for help if
needed, as well as any reference materials you think might be handy.
The race is being organized and run by Competition Unlimited
(website), a local
company that designs and runs competitions for adults.

It may be the least-known live-music venue in Austin, but the Moose Lodge still might look familiar: It was the site of the Dillon Panthers' football banquet on last week's Friday Night Lights. Gospel Brunch, Austin style. Come out to cleanse your soul and eat some fantastic Texas food. There will be free brunch for exchange goers and deejayed, and way danceable, gospel music from Bill Borgida, Tina Davis and Colin Wise. |
